Collection of canceled Faroe Islands stamps

The Faroe Islands are bordered by the Norwegian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. They are located between Scotland and Iceland. This archipelago is composed of 18 principal islands and is autonomous since 1948. It is about a dependancy of Denmark where approximately 50 000 inhabitants live. Nature is still almost intact in this archipelago. Among the stamps of this batch, you will be able to acquire many typical landscapes made up of mountains and water. Other stamps sets of themes are with the honor like the historical navigation, art, characters or the animals.
