We offer you a set of thematic stamps dedicated to Jean-Jacques Audubon, an ornithologist born in Haiti who grew up in France. This man was also a naturalist and painter.
You will find a series issued in Haiti composed of several stamps illustrating species such as the blue jay, the mourning dove, or the belted kingfisher. Burkina Faso, a neighboring state of Togo and Benin, is also included in this set and has issued a series celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Jean-Jacques Audubon. Birds such as the rough-legged buzzard, the nuthatch, or the Baltimore oriole are depicted.
La Maison du Collectionneur allows you to choose the number of stamps you prefer (25 or 50) and prices start at 5 euros. To highlight your stamp collections, we suggest this album perfectly suited. All stamps sold are postmarked. Despite our care, some new stamps may slip into the set. Your stamp collection deserves to be properly organized. Read our article on the subject.
