The Principality of Andorra, wedged between the French department of Ariège and the Spanish region of Catalonia and whose origins go back to the reign of Charlemagne sees on its throne two coprinces, the Catalan bishop of Urgell and the Head of French State. Andorra has this characteristic to have 2 types of stamps, the French Andorran stamps and the Spanish Andorran stamps.
