1 franc Morlon coin 1931/1941

New

This coin, issued between 1931 and 1941, is the result of the work of Pierre Alexandre Morlon.

The obverse of the coin features a profile head of the republic, adorned with a Phrygian cap decorated with a cockade and a crown of wheat ears and oak leaves, with the circular legend REPVBLIQVE FRANÇAISE and the signature Morlon. The reverse shows two cornucopias on either side of the face value, with LIBERTE-EGALITE-FRATERNITE at the top, and the date at the bottom between two different marks, the engraver (a cornucopia: Morlon, and the general engraver, a wing: Lucien Bazor).

La Maison du collectionneur offers you a wide selection of numismatic storage from Lindner or the numismatic cases from Safe.
